For drilling holes in concrete and reinforced concrete

The following Diamond Core Drill Bits have 12mm long diamond segments. They are suitable for use in hand held drills with HEX or SDS Chucks, when drilling core holes in either concrete or reinforced concrete, the HAMMER ACTION MUST BE TURNED OFF. With these concrete core drill bits, water is required to cool the diamond segments.

 

Diamond Core Drill Bits for Portable Hand Held Drills. ½” BSP Fitting

Rated to cut reinforced concrete & brick.  ½” BSP fitting and 12mm long (high) diamond segments.  These core drill bits can be fitted to a range of adaptor rods including SDS- Plus, standard HEX & SDS-MAX. So they can be operated on normal power drills – hammer action turned OFF.

This range also fits to diamond core drill machines with the adaptors AUB100 or AUB200. Drills listed as 220 long can core to 190mm in depth and the 400 to 400mm in depth. The 400mm core drills are used for imbedding steel bars when joining new to old concrete slabs.

User Information: – Use water quenching to cool diamond segments particularly for the long 400mm core drills. Wall ties can damage segments so investigate all obstructions and remove.

Accessories for all Core Drills with ½” BSP Fittings 

This is the range of accessories needed to attach all short series core drill bits onto the power drill including CCSB and CBTB ranges and any product that has a female ½” BSP fitting. SDS-Plus and standard 12mm HEX shank are available in short and long lengths. For example long lengths (ASPB260 & AHB250) are suited to core cutting through double brick walls.

As a guideline for larger & heavier core drill bits over 80mm in diameter, use HEX or SDS-MAX shank to avoid SDS Plus chuck damage. Centre pilot drills are required to control starting the cut.

* Note that the diameter of the widest part of each adaptor rod is given – if you wish to drill deeper than the given depth of your core drill bit (see CCSB range) – check this diameter! For example if you are using ASPB260 this is 25mm just below the threaded section so the core drill bit must be 25mm in diameter or larger or it will not fit into the core hole to allow deeper drilling.

Note: The Diamond Core Cutters below are not quite as good as the Diamond Core Drill Bits above, as they don’t have as much diamond on the individual bits.

However they are perfect for cutting a few holes in concrete or reinforced concrete.
